Sunset Dinner Cruise

Most evenings our cruise route takes us west across Calibogue Sound as we chase the setting sun into the saltwater estuaries behind Daufuskie Island. Along the way we will pass historical sights such as the Haig Point Lighthouse and the Strahn Mansion. Keep an eye out for the playful Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin. During the fall and winter months we often cruise through Calibogue Cay and along the waters of Broad Creek which is lined with beautiful waterfront mansions and estates.

We sail early enough to catch the sunset and return after dark to the lights of Harbour Town. Whether a warm summer evening or a cozy November night the Sunset Dinner Cruise is a perfect way to end any day of the year on Hilton Head Island.

The experience includes a two-hour sunset cruise aboard the Spirit of Harbour Town, private-table seating and a freshly prepared three-course dinner from The Sea Pines Resort. Guests can select indoor or outdoor dining and enjoy views of Hilton Head’s Lowcountry waterways throughout the evening.

The Hilton Head Sunset Dinner Cruise lasts approximately two hours and departs from Harbour Town Yacht Basin near the Harbour Town Lighthouse. Departure times vary throughout the year to coordinate with sunset, so guests should check the booking calendar for their selected date.

Dinner begins with an heirloom tomato panzanella salad. Guests then choose cider-roasted pork loin, blackened mahi-mahi, roasted chicken breast or pasta primavera. Dessert choices include Sunset Key Lime Pie and Flourless Chocolate Torte. Entrée and dessert selections should be submitted during checkout.

Yes. Children and infants are welcome aboard the Sunset Dinner Cruise. A children’s menu is available for guests ages 3–12, with options including chicken tenders or chicken Alfredo. Infants ages two and under can join free of charge but still require a ticket.

The route typically travels through Calibogue Sound toward Daufuskie Island. Depending on the route and season, guests may see Harbour Town, Haig Point Lighthouse, the Strahn Mansion, Broad Creek, waterfront homes and the surrounding saltwater estuaries.

Atlantic bottlenose dolphins are often spotted swimming and feeding in the waters around Hilton Head Island and Daufuskie Island. Because the dolphins are wild, sightings can occur but are not guaranteed on every cruise.

Yes. Guests can choose private-table dining inside the climate-controlled cabin with panoramic windows or on the shaded open-air upper deck. Steps are required to reach both dining areas. Outdoor groups of more than six guests will be divided between two tables.
